WPS - Boston Breakers The women's professional Soccer (WPS) league is back in full swing and the Boston Breakers are ready to Play. The Boston Breakers return to women's professional soccer under a new ownership group, Boston Women's Soccer LLC. Originally founded in 2000 as a charter member of the Women’s United Soccer Association (WUSA) the Breakers were one of eight teams in the first U.S.-based women’s professional soccer league that played three seasons (2001, 2002, 2003) before the WUSA suspended operations in September of 2003. League founding players Kristine Lilly, Kate Sobrero (now Markgraf) and Tracy Ducar headlined the Breakers roster all three seasons along with international stars that included Maren Meinert and Bettina Wiegmann (of Germany) and Dagny Mellgren and Ragnhild Gulbrandsen (of Norway).
The Boston Breakers will be playing at the Harvard Stadium. 65 N. Harvard Street in Cambridge, MA 02163.

Rhode Island Stingrays The Stingrays have a new home field for the 2009 season. All games will be played at the Robert J. Black Athletic Complex on the campus of Rhode Island College. The athletic complex is located at 600 Mount Pleasant Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island 02908. The field is natural grass and is 110 x 72. Bring fun and excitement to your youth soccer organization! |

Guam Football Association (Asia Football) The Guam Football (Soccer) Association was founded in 1975 by a group of men who were looking to establish recreational football in Guam.
A few years later, military leagues sprang up for youth teams, and a youth division of the Guam Football Association began to emerge. Communications began with the international federations, and Guam became and associate member of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) in 1991.
